Originally opened in 1995, The Cliff quickly became world renowned as Barbados’ Premier dining destination. Its food, service and ambience were unparalleled.
Now under new ownership the aspirations have increased from the best in Barbados to the best in the world! The previous structure has been modernised and the cliff has been replaced with an elegant, sophisticated design.
Our glass sea facing kitchen allows guests to catch a glimpse of our Culinary Team as they create dishes that excite the eyes and wow the taste buds.
Our fine wine cellar holds over 1500 varieties of carefully selected wines from around the world chosen by our expert team of Sommeliers by our director of wine, Alessandro Cassano.
The Cliff’s sushi bar offers the opportunity to watch our sushi chef Ernest Perepeczo and his team prepare fresh sushi and sashimi right in front of your eyes.
Made from a combination of fresh, locally sourced ingredients and traditional elements, they create a mouth watering selection of both traditional and modern sushi.

Delano and his team of mixologists have created a variety of signature cocktails, perfecting the art of making the classics. Our cocktails are made using an array of spirits from around the world.
The state of the art Vergola ventilated lounge and its vast collection of specially selected Cuban cigars paired with carefully chosen spirits offer a truly distinctive experience.
It brings us great joy to introduce you to Matt Worswick as our Culinary Director at The Cliff.
Chef Worswick is an experienced professional with 17 years of experience in Michelin Star restaurants and 5 star hotels throughout the uk.
He has most recently worked at the infamous
Savoy Grill for Gordon Ramsay In London inside the iconic
The Savoy Hotel. Worswick has a wealth of experience under his belt having earned a coveted Michelin twice in his own right at The Latymer Restaurant and Gelnapp Castle In Scotland at the age of just 26.
Peter Harris (Huggie)
Guest Relations Manager
Peter Harris, affectionately known as Huggie has been an integral part of the Hospitality sector in Barbados for many years. Peter has been involved with many of the iconic establishments over the years such as The Ship Inn and Bamboo Beach Bar before beginning his Cliff journey in 1997 to present day Cliff reborn.
Alessandro Cassano has a wealth of experience curating exclusive wine lists for various establishments such as Novikov in Mayfair, London, Blue Jasmine and Vinoteca.
Every wine and spirit has a story, Alessandro is looking forward to sharing their narratives to all Cliff diners and guests.

Ernest Perepeczo has over ten years of professional experience globally.
Born in Poland, Ernest has a keen interest in Japanese culture. This passion led him to work for several critically acclaimed restaurants such as NOBU in Paris, Roka and Zuma in London and Dom Sushi in Poland.
The constant desire to explore new places, travel and experience new cultures has led him to our Barbadian shores at The Cliff.
Now he wishes to share his mouth-watering sushi delights with you!
Delano Small is our Senior Bar Manager at The Cliff Restaurant.
Delano is a vastly experienced bartender and mixologist having spent ten years of professional experience working at some of the leading restaurants and hotels throughout Barbados.
Delano started in the hospitality industry and quickly excelled in his profession showcasing his creativity and collecting a wealth of knowledge throughout the platinum coast of Barbados.
We are extremely delighted to have him as The Cliff’s Senior Bar Manager.
